Decatur ~ Nancy Huff Blank, 78, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 22, 2014 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Christian~Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd. Burial is 12:30 p.m. in the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Ryan Ogrodowicz will officiate.
Nancy was born on May 24, 1936 to Merl and Eleanor (Pierce) Huff in Oil City, Pennsylvania. She was united in marriage to Franklin D. Blank on April 25, 1959 in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Nancy was a member of the Wise County Historical Society, the Antique Car Club and the Chisholm Trail Antique Farm Machinery Club. Nancy loved to travel and she and Frank has visited many places all over the world.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Janice Hamill.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, Frank Blank of Decatur; her sons, David Blank and wife Christa of Carrollton and Robert Blank and wife Angelia of Krum; her daughter, Dawn Scheffer and husband David of Krum; her grandchildren, Garrett, Nathan, Katelyn, Rebeccah, Matthew, Daniel and Ashley; her brother, Jim Huff of Oil City, Pennsylvania; other family members and a host of friends.
