Nancy Denise Branson, 65, of Newark, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Alvord.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, October 14th at The Hills Church of Christ in North Richland Hills, where she was a member. Tim Hogan will officiate. Interment will follow in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Nancy was born May 18, 1946 to Daniel Bruce and Urzela Elmira (Edwards) Whitesell in Indiana. She married John Edward Branson on May 30, 1967 in West LaFayette, Indiana. Nancy was a member of the "Red Hat Society".
Pallbeares are David Johnson, Jason Bond, Larry Dixon, Don Bassham, Carl Sisk and Jim Withers.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Branson and wife Chansomatha 'Kristi' of Newark; her brother, Bud Whitesell of Terre Haute, Indiana; her sister, Pat of San Francisco, California; and her grandchildren, Aydan and Zoe Branson; other family members and a host of friends.
