Decatur: Nancy Jean Vestal-Garza, 53, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in Denton, Texas.
Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur with Father Sojan Jorge officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Nancy was born July 3, 1955 in Cameron, Missouri to Merle F. and Mary W. (Simpson) Smith. She was a registered nurse and had worked for IntegraCare Home Health for 8 years. She married Cesario "Charlie" Garza on June 23, 2007 in Decatur, Texas. Nancy is preceded in death by her first husband, Danny Vestal, parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Cesario Garza of Decatur; daughter, Jill Vestal and Leslie Sanderson of Newark; and grandsons, Hunter Weil and Corbin Sanderson both of Newark.
