Naomi Beatrice Ward

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home before the service.

Naomi, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was born December 5, 1921, in Aurora to James Garland Stroud and Mary Sonora Oates. Naomi lived in Rhome since 1973 and in Saginaw since 1940. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Saginaw and Rhome. Naomi traveled with her husband, G.H. Ward, throughout the United States and Europe. She loved visiting with friends and going to antique fairs. She will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends.

Survived by her sons, Paul Ward of Rhome and Michael Ward and wife, Kare Burns of Cambridge Shire, England; grandson, Michael Ware of Springfield, Virginia and niece, Mary Lou Shaw of Aurora.
