CHICO -- Ned Stephens Alexander, 97, a farmer, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 in Chico. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: 2 p.m. at Grapevine Cemetery in Grapevine. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Alexander was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII and a member of the Second Advent Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Clementine Hurley Alexander. Survivors: Sister, Clemey Brown; brother, Milton Alexander and wife, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; great and great-great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
