Nellie Mae (Gibson) Worlow

Bridgeport ~ Nellie Mae Worlow, 92, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Sunday, April 30, 2016 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Paradise Cemetery. No set visitation Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Nellie was born on December 4, 1923 to Samuel Allen and Essie Mae (Gibson) Strickland in Alvarado, Texas. She was united in marriage to Hubert Worlow on August 22, 1942. Nellie was a dairy farmer for 35 years.
Gabe Raingel will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hubert Worlow; her brother, Doyle Gibson; her sisters, Louise Plexico, Ruby Betts, and Ruth Halcomb.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Wayne Worlow and wife Glenda of Paradise, Gary Worlow and wife Pam of Bridgeport, and Kenny Worlow of Paradise; her grandchildren, Shelley, Wes, Derek, Todd, Chase, and Brandy; 13 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
