Ms. Castleberry was born January 29, 1925 in Decatur to Claude W. and Beluah F. (Holt) Reeves. She was united in marriage to Billy Ray Castleberry on January 15, 1952 in Arlington, Texas. Ms. Castleberry was a graduate of Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.

Left behind to cherish her memory are son, Stephen Castleberry; grandson, Justin Castleberry both of Lexington, South Carolina; sister, Annie Lee Wood of Decatur; niece, Sylvia Hornback of Decatur; nephew, Cecil R. Wood, Jr. of Waelder, Texas; and several great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
