Noma Gay Cross

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 21st at Immanuel Baptist Church with Reverend Louis Horton officiating. Interment: Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Bill Fennell, Glenn Gage, Carl Fennell, Michael Fennell, Sonny McCarmick and Eddie Norris.

Noma was born on November 6, 1936 in Decatur to John Henry and Minnie Bertha Hicks Fennell. She married Terry Leon Cross on July 28, 1956 and was married 42 years at his death in February, 1999. Noma was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish her memory are two sons, Randy Cross and wife, Karen of Decatur; Brent Cross and wife, Shawna of Rhome; three grandchildren, Codey Cross and wife, Natalie of Aubrey, Kristi and Kaylee Cross both of Decatur; two great grandchildren, Maci and Bailee Cross of Aubrey; and brother David Fennell and wife, Sue of Decatur.
