Norma was born on January 12, 1926 to Walter and Eva (Taylor) Young in Rockford, Illinois. She married Dalbert Dale Garlock on September 13, 1943 in Portland, Oregon. She was a charter member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her son, Butch Garlock.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dulcena McCune and husband Robert of Boyd; her grandsons, Ronald Ray McCune and wife Stacey of Boyd and Rodney McCune and wife Dana of Boyd; her granddaughter, Dawnetta Robinson and husband Andrew of Bossier City, Louisiana; her great grandchildren, Jason, Jeffery, Matt, Maggie, Kody, Marley, Jimmy, and Macey; her great great grandchild, Indie; her daughter in law, Patricia Garlock of Grants Pass, Oregon; her sister, Shirley Tinney of Seattle, Washington; her niece, Loretta Knight of Seattle, Washington; other family members and a host of friends.
