Decatur: Norma Darlene Range, 79, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Friday, October 4, 2008 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Abbey Chapel in Restland Cemetery, Dallas, Texas with Rick Ross officiating. Interment is in Restland Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur, Texas.
Norma was born January 28, 1929 in Sedalia, Missouri to Charles and Ethel (Stevens) Eirls, Sr. She married Hiram Steve Range on March 20, 1949 in Lubbock, Texas. Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, brother, Charles Eirls, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Connie Range.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Deborah Rowan and husband, Lynn of Lubbock; son, Roney Range and wife, Dixie of Decatur; four grandchildren, Rebecca Hatchett and husband Brent of Lubbock, Rusty Rowan and wife, Ashley of St. Louis, Missouri, Brandon Range of Kileen and Brian Range of Decatur; four great grandchildren; sister, Neva Schupp and husband, Virgil; numerous nieces, nephews and host of friends.
