Norma Jean Womack

Chico~ Norma Womack, 81, went to be with our Lord Monday June 1, 2020 in Decatur.

G raveside Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Boonsville Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

B .J. Womack and Allen Gordon will officiate.

Pallbearers include Paul Simmons, Milton Dunlap, Phil Dunlap,Dustin Dunlap,Riley Deaver, Chad Reese. Honorary include Dan Chilcutt, David Chilcutt, and Ronnie Womack.

N orma was born on May 7, 1939 to Daniel and Alta (Rich) Chilcutt in Weatherford, Texas. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, B.J. Womack on October 30, 1954 in Springtown, Texas, they spent 65 wonderful years together as husband and wife. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of and raising her family. Norma was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Asa Robinson; her brother, Royce Chilcutt; her sisters, Margie Lott and Margaret Swinney.

Those left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 65 years B.J. Womack of Chico; her daughters, Sherri Simmons and husband Paul of Paradise; and Rhonda Dunlap and husband Milton of Jacksboro;  her grandchildren, Ashley Dunlap and husband Phil, Dustin Dunlap, Bristyn Deaver and husband Riley, Justin Simmons and wife Amy, Josh Simmons and wife Lana, her great-grandchildren, Braylea, Londyn, Falyn, Slayte, McKynlee, Avery, Kinley, Jagar, Jaxan, and Jatan; her brother, Dan Chilcutt and wife Sandra of Weatherford; her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and a host of friends.
