Norman Stirling Sheardown

Bridgeport ~ Norman Stirling Sheardown, 77, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 6, 2018 in Denton.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Gerre Joiner will officiate. Honorary pallbearer is Rowdee aka “Bubba”.

Norman was born on September 18, 1941 to William Gordon and Marion (Sutherland) Sheardown in Hamiota, Manitoba, Canada. He was united in marriage to Darla Tucker in Las Vegas, Nevada. Norman was baptized on August 31, 1947 according to the Doctrine and Order of the United Church of Canada.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Sheardown.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 39 years, Darla Tucker Sheardown; his daughters, Dionne Gould and husband Travis of Crafton and Shanda Sheardown of Rhome; his grandchildren, Shaylee, Rowdee and Emilee; his mother, Marion Sheardown of Hamiota, Manitoba, Canada; his brothers, Donald Sheardown and wife Rose of Blair, Nebraska and Danny Sheardown and wife Letty of Fort Worth; his sisters, Rhonda Roberts of Grapevine and Corene Mora of Fort Worth; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
