Graveside service is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 24th at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1 in Decatur with Kenny Cates and Willie Cole officiating.
Pallbearers are Ricky Meador, Jeff Meador, Tony Meador, Wes Hardee, Tim Hardee, Billy Hardee and Jessie Hardee.
Odessa was born January 7, 1921 in Justin, Texas to Milton Frank and Ettie Mae (Holiday) Taylor. She married Ed Hardee on September 6, 1941 in Boyd, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Ed Hardee of Decatur; daughter, Evelyn Darlene Meador and husband, James of Decatur; sons, Johnny Hardee, Weldon Hardee and wife, Sheila, Milton Hardee, Sr. and Milton Hardee, Jr. all of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Odessa is preceded in death by her grandson, Randy Meador, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
