Decatur: Odis Randel Boner, 58, went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 23, 2009 in Decatur.
Memorial service is 11 a.m. Thursday, March 26th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Ross officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
Odis was born March 2, 1951 in Decatur, Texas to Odis Willie and Frances Winnell (Morris) Boner. He was a member of the Decatur Church of Christ and was a member of the Iron Worker's Union No. 263.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his father, Bus Boner of Decatur; daughter, Tiffney and husband, Jeremy Watson of Rhome; sister, Sheryl Christian and husband, Rick of Decatur; two grandchildren, Blaine and Cash Watson of Rhome; niece, Mandi McGinnis of San Angelo, nephew, Rusty Christian of Keller; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

I was in Randel's high school class, 1969 and knew him for many years. I have been in Chicago area for 27 years and probably have not seen Randel since high school graduation. I just pulled out my 1969 yearbook, boy have we all changed!
