Funeral services were held on Monday, June 16, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour S.E. Chapel with interment to follow at 1pm, Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Alvord Cemetery in Alvord, Texas.
Fay was born May 13, 1922 in Alvord, Texas to George and Essie (Smith) Praytor. Left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Evelyn Cleo Anderson and husband, Windell, of Ft. Worth; daughter D'Alan Ann Bates and husband, John, of Euless; Carol Fay Bates and husband, Roger, of Midwest City, Oklahoma; stepson, Robert Alan Benson and wife, Judi, of Felton, Delware; grandchildren: Megan and Daniel Bates of Euless, and Cassie, Stephanie, and Allison Bates of Midwest City, Oklahoma; nieces Linda Schmidt and husband, Rally, and son, Steffan, of North Richland Hills, Texas; and Susan Whisenhunt and daughters: Claire and Rachel of Austin, Texas.
