Springtown ~ Ollie Felix Harpel, Jr., 73, a truck driver, went to be with our Lord Saturday, January 30, 2016 in Springtown.
Memorial is 2:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at VFW Club, 11875 FM 730 North, Azle, TX 76020. .
Ollie was born on December 5, 1942 to Ollie and Melba (Herrera) Harpel, Sr. in San Antonio, Texas. He has been with his loving wife, Elaine (Sampson) Harpel, for 37 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Melba, Diane, and Ollie Mae; his brothers, Tony, Kenneth, and Nickolas.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Elaine Harpel; his daughters, Kelly White, Jennifer Norwood and husband Jerry of Hockley, Texas, Mary Lynn Harpel of Michigan, and Carol Lynn Harpel of Paris, France; his sons, Joseph White and wife Christy of Tomball, Texas, Kenneth James White and wife Lucia of Tomball, Texas, Randy Harpel and wife Beth of Michigan, and Doyle Anthony Harpel of Michigan; his sisters, Mary Joann Rape of Conroe and Judy Gonzales of San Antonio; his brother, Paul Harpel of Abilene; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; his special family, Christy, James, Carrie, Cathy, and 11 additional grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
