Denton: Oma Louise Bailey, 88, formerly of Decatur, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, June 17, 2010 in Denton.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday in Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Clay Bailey, Aaron Meyers, Ryan Mitchell, Landon Mitchell, David Woods, and Rick Davis.
Louise was born April 10, 1922, in Riley Springs to Albert Franklin and Mary Ruth Parsons Mowell. She married Ray Vendy Bailey on Oct. 31, 1942, in Terrell and was married 57 years at his death on May 11, 2000. She was a hairdresser for 37 years and was owner of the Ridge Crest Beauty Salon in Irving, Texas for seven years.
Left behind to cherish her memory is son, Bill Bailey and wife, Carol, of Rhome; daughters, Raynelle Meyers and Linda Ozburn and husband, Robert, of Denton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Delia Woods of Waxahachie and Margaret Davis of Arlington.
