Cottondale ~ Omadell Alice Garnett went to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in Weatherford.
Graveside Service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery Pavilion in Decatur. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service.
Omadell was born September 3, 1925 to Austin Benjamin and Zula Leanna (Robertson) McIntosh in Poteet, Texas. She was united in marriage November 18, 1942 to Joe Dale Garnett in San Antonio, Texas. Omadell worked for the U.S. Government as managing inventory for years. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joe Dale Garnett.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Wayman Garnett and wife Harriet of Plano, and Randall Garnett and wife Cheryl of Paradise; her daughter, Elaine Hill and husband Lee of Weatherford; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Ramah Edwards of Marble Falls, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice] in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2
