Opal Weber

Decatur ~ Opal Grace Weber, 84, of Decatur went to the with our Lord January 8, 2021 in Decatur.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Boyd Cemetery.

Opal was born on April 10, 1936 to Fred Newell and Etta Mae (Prickett) Brown in Nebraska, Mitchell. She was united in marriage to Leon C. Weber in 1962. Opal was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Mariann Elaine Weber; her brothers, Bob Brown, and Fred Brown; and her sister, Bonnie Liston.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Stacey Lynn Summers and husband Jeffrey Glenn of Decatur, Jacqueline Denise Harden of West Virginia, and Catherine Sue Hammons of Decatur; her grandchildren, Chelsi Summers, Chase Summers, Eddie Moon, Jonathan Moon, Ronnie Hammons, Sherman Hammons; 9 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Alice Bobo and husband Jesse Bobo of Waco; extended family and a host of friends
