Decatur ~ Orbie Dale Davenport, 87, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Graveside Service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Leon Cemetery in Leon, Oklahoma. No Set Family visitation, funeral home open 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening for signing of book.

Larry Hicks will officiate.

Orbie was born June 4, 1934 to Ernest and Euna (Walker) Davenport in Rubottom, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage April 4, 1953 to Barbara Edeleen Powell in Gainesville, Texas. Orbie graduated Courtney High School and was a retired machinist dresser in the oilfield industry. He was a beloved husband, father, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Euna Davenport; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and a grandson, Nathan Daniel Waldron.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 69 years, Barbara Davenport of Decatur; his daughter, Teresa Dale Renfro of Lake Worth; numerous extended family members, and a host of friends.
