Decatur ~ Pascual Lopez, 76, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Father Thomas Desoza will officiate. Pallbearers include Julia Ojeda, Jalily Lopez, Tono Lopez, Juan Antonio Lopez, Gabriel Lopez, Joseph Ojeda, Giovanni Navarro, and Alexandra Lopez.
Pascual was born on June 16, 1940 to Pascual and Julia (Delgado) Lopez in Salinas, Slp, Mexico. Pascual was a retired truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his first wife Dolores Acevedo of Decatur; his son, Juan Antonio Lopez and wife Carmen of Houston; his daughters, Lourdes Lopez and husband Rogelio of Mexico, Irene Lopez and husband Jairo of Chicago, Rita Lopez and husband Gabriel of Decatur, Dolores Lopez of Chicago, Guillermina Ojeda and husband Jose of Chicago, Lucia Perez and husband Edmundo of Chicago; 40 grand and great grandchildren; his sisters, Maria Del Refugio, Maria De Jesus, Maria Del Carmen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
