Alvord ~ Pascual Vargas, 61, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Decatur.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary with burial in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Church with rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Fr. Reehan Soosan Anthony will officiate. Pallbearers include Ismael Vargas, Miguel Vargas, Pascual Vargas Jr., Jorge Vargas, Abel Lopez, and Chris “Gregorio” Paul.

Pascual was born on May 17, 1957 to Jose and Cecilia (Mejia Rubio) Vargas in San Miguel De Allende, Guanajuato. He was united in marriage to Virginia Luna on January 18, 1975 in Mexico. Pascual was a farmer.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Virgina Vargas of Alvord; his sons, Ismael Vargas and wife Maria of Alvord, Miguel Vargas and wife Leticia of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Pascual Vargas Jr. and wife Norma of Lewisville, Jorge Vargas of Alvord; his daughters, Maricela Lopez and husband Abel of Alvord, Hortensia Vargas of Alvord, Leticia Paul and husband Christopher of Fort Worth, Maribel Vargas of Alvord; his granddaughters, Marlen, Emma, Sophia; his brothers, Antonio Vargas, Jose Vargas, Julian Vargas, Rene Vargas; his sisters, Graciela Vargas, Yolanda Vargas, Maria Vargas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
