Decatur: Pat Fennell, 72, went to be with our Lord, Friday, April 19, 2013 in Decatur.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 22nd at Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Van Gardner and Rev. Ken May officiating. Interment: Sweetwater Cemetery.
Pallbearers included Randy Cross, Rex Cross, David Cross, Carl Fennell, Bill Fennell and Brent Cross.
Pat was born April 29, 1940 in Decatur to Hoyt Parker "Bill" and Eva Lou (Boydston) Cross. She was united in marriage on June 14, 1958 to Jeff D. Fennell and was married 39 years at his death in July, 1997. Pat retired from Decatur ISD after 31 years of service and her last position was as a custodial supervisor from Carson Elementary. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Sandra Boyd and husband Junior of Slidell and Shelley Fennell of Decatur; sister, LouAnn Cate of Decatur; granddaughter, Kasi Kelly and husband Glenn of Boyd; great-granddaughter, Brynli Kelly of Boyd; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Pat was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Bud and Sonny Cross.
