Decatur: Pat North, 76, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 27th at Boyd Cemetery with Dr. Tad Billmire officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include, Paul Perkins, Kevin Darrah, Steve White, Cliff Greer, Larry Avant, Allen Bingham, Brent Wilson, Toney Meador, Jerrod Niblett, Jackie Don Miller, Webb Bryan and Michael White.
Pat was born, July 1, 1936 at East Gulf, West Virginia. She was united in marriage to Donald North on June 18, 1962 in Pearisburg, Virginia. Pat retired from GTE as a telephone operator after 17 years of service and retired from Wal-Mart after 10 years of service.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Don North; daughter, Donna Miller; two sons, Clifton and Kent North all of Decatur; grandchildren, Sandra Mitchum, Michael Dobyns and wife, Ashly, Misty Bradish, Tiffany Dunlap and husband, Matt, Summer Miller, Greyson North, Christopher Hughes, Stetson North, Spencer North, Colin, Chance and Austin Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Talon, Caysen, Colton, and Teagan Hill, Dillon and Collin Dobyns, and Brilee and Luke Dunlap.
Pat was preceded in death by her two daughters, Lois North and Tammi Bradish and granddaughter, Pam Bradish.
