Grand Saline ~ Pat Renfrow, 87, a retired dairy farmer, went to be with our Lord Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Dallas.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 at Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery. No set visitation Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Brandon Henderson will officiate.
Mr. Renfrow was born on June 10, 1928 to Charles and Minnie (Herrington) Renfrow in Stephenville, Texas. He entered the Merchant Marines at age 17 in 1945 then the Army in 1947. Mr. Renfrow served in the Korean War stationed in Germany before he was honorably discharged in 1952. He later retired from Southwestern Bell to go into the dairy business in Decatur. Mr. Renfrow loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, and working in his vegetable garden.
Mr. Renfrow, referred to by his extended family as Pat-Pat are Kelli and Clay Waymire, grandkids Elyssa and Tim Waymire, and dear friend Betty Waymire. They loved and cared for him and will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sarah Ethel Renfrow; his brothers, Lee Arnold Renfrow, Thurman Renfrow, and Sherman Renfrow; and his sister, Helen Egbert.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tammy McGar and husband Tim of Decatur; his son, Patrick Ryan Eady of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Lindsey McGar, Candace White and husband Tony, Clayton McGar and wife Tori, Matthew Ryan Pemberton, and Ally Rayne Eady; his sisters, Faye Jean Haley and Raye Jean Milligan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
