Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, James Howard of Alvord; 3 daughters, Kandice Fambro of San Antonio; Katie Howell of Sanger, and Kayla Davis & husband Aaron of Ft. Worth ; 5 grandchildren, Cerelia, Maggie, Parker, Adelyn, and Rayden; 2 sisters, Audrey Bayes & husband Eddie, and Kim Plew & husband Gary; her brother, Matt Hill; her sister-in-law, Karen Bonham and husband John; her brother-in-law, Scott Howard; mother-in-law, Gladys Moore and mother-in-law, Elaine Howard; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
On July 8, 2018, Patty and her husband James were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior; and became members of the First Baptist Church of Alvord. She enjoyed preparing meals for the Meals on Wheels ministry, Kids Pop, Mercy Committee and the Community Thanksgiving lunch.
The good Lord blessed with many gifts and was born with a servant’s heart. She loved working with her hands. Patty would spend hours working on jigsaw puzzles with her granddaughters. Probably her greatest gift was innovation. She saw the world through a different prism than most. Patty loved to sew and repurpose items that many would discard. In some circles she was known as “Crafty Patty”. There is no doubt that she used her God given gifts to enrich those around her and in turn glorified Him for what He had provided.
