Paradise ~ Patricia Kay “Patti” O’Brien, 57, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Paradise, Texas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Burial will be held at 1:00p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 at Chapelwood Cemetery in Nash, Tx. Family will receive friends from 12-2 prior to service at the funeral home.
Mary Hildebrandt will officiate.
Patti was born on March 8, 1965 in Texarkana, Texas to Leslie and Charlotte (Ellison) Dickerson. She was united in marriage to Joseph P. O’Brien II on September 16, 1989 in Arlington, Texas. Patti retired from the phone industry to travel to anywhere there was a beach, Mexico and Jamaica being among her favorites. She loved the beach and her toes in the sand, while jamming out to rock music. Patti loved her cat Finley and reading a good book, Stephen King was one of her favorites. There was nothing Patti loved more than her dearest husband Joe and their families. She was a beloved wife, daughter, aunt and friend. Patti was an avid supporter of being an organ donor, her being a recipient herself.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie H. Dickerson and her brother Kenneth H. Dickerson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 32 years Joe O’Brien of Paradise; her mother Charlotte Dickerson of Paradise; her cat Finley and a host of family and friends.
