Patricia Tinney Smith

Boyd ~ Patricia Gail Tinney Smith, 80, a retired office administrator, went  to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Decatur.

Memorial service is Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at the Boyd Community Center, with burial at 3:00 p.m. at Perryman Cemetery in Forestburg Texas. Pallbearers are Jeremy Hill, Dewey Hill, Brian Hunt, Junior Garcia, Johnny Garcia, Russell C. Smith; honorary pallbearers are Charles R Smith Jr, Frank Tinney, Cedar Hill, Whitt Hill and Wyatt Davis.

Patricia was born on July 12, 1935 to A. Lee and Lilly Addieville (Denham) Tinney in Wheeler, Texas.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and caretaker.  Patricia worked as an office administrator for Austin Industries.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters, Wilma Tinney, Julia Tinney, Christine Willingham, Harriet Rankin, Addiele Jennings, and Jackie Waggoner; three brothers Arthur Tinney, Clifford Tinney and Charles Tinney.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sabrena Jane Smith Hill and husband David of Decatur; her sons, Charles Ray Smith Jr and wife Cindy of Boyd, and Russell Clifford Smith of Boyd; her granddaughters, Jennifer Bulpit, Sherri Naugle and Brittany Davis; her grandsons, Jeremy Hill, Dewey Hill, and Brian Hunt; 13 and one-half great grandchildren; her sister Kathrine Davenport of Grand Prairie; other family members, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Boyd High School Music Department.
