Patrick "O" Berman

Boyd ~ Patrick “O” Berman, 66, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 25, 2021 in Decatur.

Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Boyd with burial following at Rosston Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Rev. Mark Autry will officiate.  Pallbearers will include James Ryan Berman, Donald Marshall, DJ Marshall, Jimmy Raney, Chris Raney, and Austin Wright.

Pat was born March 17, 1955 to Joseph Earl and Lorraine (Willoughby) Berman in Washington, D.C.  After graduating Columbia College he went on to work as a Police Officer.  Pat proudly served his country in the United States Navy until retirement.  He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Debbie Raney on December 23, 1977 in Rosston, Texas.  Pat was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Boyd.  He was a beloved son, husband, father, and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Berman; and his son, Eric Berman.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 43 years, Debbie Berman of Boyd; his son, James Ryan Berman and wife Elaine of Paradise; his mother, Lorraine Berman of Cambridge, Maryland; other extended family and a host of friends.
