Patrick was born on May 7, 1957 to Burton and Agnes (Duffy) Byers in Wimbledon, England. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Langevin on October 19, 1991 in Hooksett, New Hampshire. Patrick was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and a friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Mari; and 2 brothers, Charles and Michael.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Dorothy Langevin-Byers of Boyd; 2 sons, Ryan and Adam Cheney; his daughter, Kimberly Langevin and husband Jamey (Levi) Wolfe; 11 grandchildren, Devin, Erick, Arin, Shawn, Matthew, Savannah, Alexander, Leviah, Oliver, Jackson, and Myron; 2 great-grandchildren, Ryry and Lawson; 3 brothers, Steve, Ronnie, and Burt; his loving pet, Khloe; his close friends, Sam, George and Martha, Jenna, and Russell; other relatives and a host of friends.
