Boyd ~ Patsy Ewing Chance, 76, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 in Bedford.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Mark Forrest will officiate. Pallbearers include Greg Williams, Derek Williams, Jackson Basting, Shannon Hippler, John Basting, and Bruce Steele.
Patsy was born on March 24, 1937 in Decatur, Texas. She graduated from Northwest High School in 1955. Patsy was retired from Decatur Lumber Yard and Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home. She was united in marriage to Bill Chance on July 1, 1974 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Edith Hern; her husband, Bill Chance on June 9, 2009; and her son, Ron Williams.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Greg Williams and wife Jennifer Rosenbaum of Gainesville; her daughters, Ronna Wilson and Shannon Hippler of Many, Louisiana, Patti Basting and Jeff Melton of Boyd; her grandchildren, Derek, Kelsey, Jessica, Emily, and Jackson; her sister, Peggy Harvey of Fort Worth; her nieces, Karan and Donna; her nephew, Terry; other family members and a host of friends.
