Patsy Eloise (Paschall) Gentry

Paradise ~ Patsy Eloise Gentry, 86, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Decatur.

Funeral is 3:00 p.m. Friday at Cottondale Baptist Church with burial in Cottondale Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home Bridgeport and 1 hour prior to the service Friday at the church.

Rev. Charles Pugh will officiate.  Pallbearers include Shane Funk, Brandon Gentry, David Gentry, Gentry Funk, Brolan Gentry, and Chris Funk.

Patsy was born August 25, 1932, to Alexander and Ola Lucille (Albritton) Paschall in Overton, Texas.  She was united in marriage to Ernest Douglas Gentry on November 19, 1950 in Bridgeport, Texas.  Patsy was a member of First Baptist Church in Cottondale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandchild, Brett Katherine Gentry; her sisters, Marcella Paschall Phillips and Sue Paschall Holley.

Those left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 68 years, Ernest D. Gentry; her sons, Gregory Gentry of Paradise, Keith Gentry of Paradise, and Brett Gentry and wife Tammie Jo of Cottondale; her daughter, Penny Funk and husband Chris of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, David Gentry, Brandon Gentry, Brolan Gentry, Brenlee Gentry, Shane Funk, Cara Garner, and Gentry Funk; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; her brother Jim Bob Paschall and wife Janice of Cottondale; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
