Patsy (Baker) Meador

Rhome ~ Patsy Meador, 79, a retired apartment manager, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in Rhome.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Coker- Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial at 2:30 p.m. in DFW National Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Rev. Kevin Drake and Rev. Ann Drake will officiate. Pallbearers include Carl Meador, Landon Meador, Kevin Drake, Willie Bean, James Weathers, and Tommy Ladd.
Patsy was born on August 25, 1936 to Lawrence and Alice (Wheeler) Baker in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage to Edward Meador on October 19, 1952 in Weatherford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Lawrence Ray Meador.
These left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Ed Meador of New Fairview; her grandsons, Michael Meador and wife Lizette of Las Vegas, Carl Meador and wife Ashley of Aurora, Nicholas Meador and wife Maranda of Las Vegas, and Clinton Hawk of Las Vegas; her granddaughter, Kristy Meador of Las Vegas; 6 great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Nann Meador; her sister, Doris Ladd; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
