Patsy Marion (Croy) Phillips

Decatur ~ Patsy Marion Phillips, 76, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in Decatur.
Graveside is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Nelson Grove Cemetery in Woodbine, Texas. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Bro. Fred Ferren will officiate.
Patsy was born July 24, 1943 to John William and Mammie (Bacon) Croy in Denton, Texas. She was united in marriage to Jerry Phillips in Lewisville. Patsy retired from Barthold Tire in Gainesville after many years as their bookkeeper. She was a beloved mother, aunt, cousin and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Phillips; her son, James David Phillips; her 2 brothers, John William Croy, Jr., and Jimmy Edward Vess; her sister, Aaron Ward; and her granddaughter, Candace Shay Phillips.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are her daughter, Lorie Phillips of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
