Patsy Ruth (Anderson) Wright

Decatur ~ Patsy Ruth Wright, 85, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 17, 2022.

Patsy was born June 5, 1936 to Johnny Clyde Anderson and Nellie Blondell Anderson in Terral, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Oscar Leon Wright, November 12, 1955, for almost 60 years before his death. Patsy was more than just a housewife. She was an excellent seamstress, cake decorator and caretaker of us all. Patsy was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will all miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Blondell Anderson; her husband, Leon Wright; 2 brothers C.J. Anderson, and Kenny Anderson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Rusty Wright and wife Gigi of Frisco; her daughter, Rhonda Hitzfeld and husband Rodney of Paradise, 2 granddaughters, Jacqueline Gentry and Jodi Carpenter; 4 great-grandchildren, Jesi, Bryndal, Brewin, and Jacoda; her brother, Jerry Don Anderson; numerous extended family members, and a host of friends.
