Patsy Ruth Harrison

Alvord ~ Patsy Ruth Harrison, 90, a homemaker and caregiver, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in Alvord.

Memorial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Rev. Glenn Waldon and John Hill will officiate.

Patsy was born on September 27, 1928 to Fines Archie and Connie Ella (Long) Simpson in Wise County, Texas. She was united in marriage to

Jewell Ray Harrison on May 22, 1952 in Decatur. Patsy loved her Lord and Savior and her family very much. She managed the family farm for many years, overseeing every detail with precision.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Billy Harrison; her sister, Berniece Miles; her brothers, Billy Bob Simpson, F.A. Simpson, and Vernon Joe Simpson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah Hill and husband Leslie of Arlington, Cindy Carter and husband Ozie of Chico, and Karen Waldon and husband Glenn of Bridgeport; her sons, Chris Harrison of Alvord and Roger Harrison of Alvord; her grandchildren, Connie Garcia, John Hill, Tiffany Harrison, Laura Waldon, and Matthew Harrison; her great-grandchildren, Cooper Garcia, Kaleb Lopez, Atticus Hill, Leela Harrison, and Jason Sanford; her sister, Dorothy Largent of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
