BRIDGEPORT -- Paul Martin Beck, 62, of Bridgeport went to be with our Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2008, in Decatur. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Rev. Ruby Isler will officiate.
Paul was born on June 24, 1946 in Denton, the son of Samuel Jesse and Annie Bell Beck. He married Barbara Keen on July 18, 1967 in Diamond Hill, Texas. He was a truck driver for Lattimore Materials.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Beck; his grandparents, Robert and Mandy Brown; and his father-in-law, Eugene Loper.
Left behind to cherish his memory is: wife, Barbara Beck of Bridgeport; daughter, Sandra Hill of Bridgeport; son, Wayne Beck of Bridgeport; three grandchildren, Robert, Hannah, and Catilyn; mother, Annie Bell Beck of Samson Park; sister, Virginia Smith and husband Max of Blue Mound; mother-in-law, Hanna Loper; in-laws, Jackie Jr. and Ruth Keen, William and Barbara Keen, Harold and Linda Keen, Rick and Sue Stockard, Linda and Annie Ames, George and Connie Loper, Trevor Geer, and Kathy Tankersly.
