Azle: Paul Moutohn Foster, 78, went to be with our Lord on Monday, July 13, 2009 in Azle.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. Thursday, July 16th in Sweetwater Cemetery with Reverend Gerre Joiner officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Paul was born December 29, 1930 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Archie Harold and Ida Gertrude (Burk) Foster. He grew up in the Allison Community and lived there until his family moved after WWII. He married Anna Helene Cohen on August 4, 1951 in Wickenburg, Arizona. He was a member of the Lynnwood Masonic Lodge No. 600 in California and a member of the Assembly of God church. Paul retired in 1984 from the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union No. 494 located in Long Beach, California after 20 years of service. After his retirement, he moved back to southern Wise County.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 58 years, Ann Foster of Azle; son, Paul M. Foster, Jr. of Azle; daughter, Rachel Ann Lifson of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; two brothers, Archie Harold Foster, Jr. of Clearlake, California, Jesse Burk Foster of Houston; and five grandchildren.
