Paul Glen Liebel

Chico ~ Paul Glen Liebel, 65, went to be with our Lord Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2PM Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Paul was born on July 12, 1958 to Hubert Clinton and Lorretta Mae (Armstrong) Liebel in Dallas. He was united in marriage to Sharon Marie Simons on November 21, 1975 in Dallas. Paul was an estimator at Karl Klement Ford for several years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Lorretta Liebel; his sisters, Brenda Kay Langley and Pamela Renee Perkins; his brother, Clinton Wesley Liebel.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Sharon Liebel; his children, Christopher Paul and wife Sheri, Christie Marie and Perry Beard, and Phillip Anthony and Ciara all of Chico; his grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Naron and husband James, Jessica Renea Beard, Hunter Ryan Beard, Emersyn Rose Liebel, and Ezlynn Raine Liebel; his great-grandchild, Kayson Paul Naron; his step-mother, Lillie Mae Liebel; 3 sisters, Shirley Ann Dickerson, Vicky Langley, and Andrea Tompkins; 2 brothers, John Tompkins and James Mott; his brother-in-law, Randy Perkins; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
