Alvord: Paul Eugene Turvaville, 61, a machinist, died Thursday, March 20th in Alvord.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 22 at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Paul was born January 7, 1947 in Quanah, Texas, to Paul E. and Elizabeth Matthews Turvaville. He married Sharon Ruth Baker on Jun 22, 2002 in Crafton and had worked for Lockheed-Martin of Fort Worth for over 35 years. Paul served from 1965 to 1966 in the U.S. Army, where he received the National Defense Service Medal for Marksmanship. He was a member of the Crafton and Alvord volunteer Fire Department and a Master Mason of the Riverside Lodge No. 1194 of Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Turvaville of Alvord; sons, Mike Turvaville and wife, Donya of Keller and Jacob Turvaville of Alvord; daughters Cheryl Almond and husband, Ben of Watauga , Paula Turvaville of Bridgeport and Chrystal Rider and husband, Cale of Chico; brother Raymond Turvaville and wife, Janice of Chillicothe; sister, Doris McBeath and husband Marc of Lubbock; and 8 grandchildren.
The family request that memorials be made to the American Cancer Association.
