Paul Raymond Whitford

Memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 17th at Northwest Christian Church, 1001 North Davis, Arlington, Texas.

Paul was born on March 15, 1941 to Raymond and Annie (Marchbanks) Whitford near Spur, Texas. He was a 1959 graduate from Azle High School. He attended Cisco Jr. College before graduating from North Texas State University. In Texas, he earned his CPA and practiced for several years before moving to California. Paul continued his accounting practice in California and graduated from San Fernando Law School in 1978. For many years he practiced law in California before returning to Arlington to be near his family and friends.

Paul was always positive and generous. Above all, Paul was a loved family member and a loyal friend. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Billy Cathcart, family gatherings and monthly get-togethers with high school friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Gene and Clint Thomason.

Those left behind to cherish is memory are his sisters, Mcajo Pool and Phyllis Curtis and husband Ernie; his brother, William L. Thomason and wife Syble; his nieces, Teresa Pool and Sherri Culbreath; his nephews, Ray Pool III and wife Jayne, Ron Thomason and wife Corinne and Eric Thomason and wife Robin; several grand, great and great-great nieces and nephews, many close and personal friends and his dog Cricket.
