Paula (Schellenberger) Lackey

Poolville ~ Paula Lackey, 53, passed away on November 16, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport on Friday, November 22, at 3 PM, with Fred Raney officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior.

Born on March 15, 1971, to Vernon and Wanda (Lacore) Shellenberger in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, Paula married Johnny Lackey Jr. in March 1989.

She leaves behind her husband Johnny Lackey Jr., son Johnny Lackey III and wife Tia, grandchildren Tanner and Tallie, daughter Monique, husband Eric, and grandson Ronan, father Vernon Shellenberger, sister Theresa Gee, and many friends.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Shellenberger, brother James Shellenberger, and sister Katie Gee.

Paula dedicated years to Poolville ISD's cafeteria, nurturing children with kindness and care. Her love for family was unparalleled, and being a Mimzy brought immense joy.

Paula's passing leaves a void as a cherished daughter, wife, and friend.
