Decatur: Pedro Trevino, 82, a retired glass blower, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, December 18, 2012.
Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Rene' Guia, Eric Keefer, Evan Keefer, Gabriel Guia, Rachael Guia, Samuel Powers and Matthew Powers.
Pedro was born May 13, 1930 in Salinas Victoria, Monterrey, Mexico to Juan and Leonor Trevino. He was united in marriage to Brigida Lozano on December 28, 1956 in Monterrey, Mexico. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Brigida Trevino of Decatur; 4 daughters, Lupe Guia and husband Antonio of Decatur, Leticia Keefer and husband Alvin of Plano, Lenore Trevino, and Maria Powers and husband Daniel all of Carrollton; 7 grandchildren, Rene', Gabriel and Rachael Guia, Eric and Evan Keefer, Samuel Powers, and Matthew Powers; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Anastacio Trevino; 2 sisters, Juanita Vega and Lourdes Garcia; numerous nieces, nephew, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Porfirio Trevino.
