Decatur: Peggy Faye Lovell, 90, of Decatur, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, September 4, 2011 in Fort Worth.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 7th at the First Baptist Church of Decatur with Reverend Ken May officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Emmitt Agan, Gary Howard, Jerry Bethurum, Bobby Terrell, Jerry Dodd, and Gary Willis. Honorary pallbearers include Frank Madrie, David Shores, Sam Blackwell, Bob Wadsworth and Kenneth McKay.
Peggy was born August 30, 1921 in Decatur, Texas to Robert and Sallye (Simmons) Taylor. She married Gordon Lynn Lovell on July 2, 1941 in Lubbock, Texas. Peggy was office manager for Lovell Plumbing Supply for 15 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are husband, Gordon Lovell of Decatur; two sons, Gary Lovell of Decatur and Donald Lovell of Larkspur, Colorado; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
