Peggy Ruth (Gideon) Mccormick

Bridgeport ~ Peggy Ruth McCormick, a homemaker, 77, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 3, 2019, in Decatur.

Memorial is 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel Decatur.

Peggy was born on June 28, 1941, to Berry and Eula (Davis) Gideon in Success, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to Joe McCormick on May 31, 1957, in Spur, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Dwain McCormick and wife Kelly of Alvord; her daughter, Diane Stachowiak and husband Louis of Bridgeport; her grandchildren; Adam, Dustin, Erin, Ryan, and Stephanie; 8 great grandchildren; 1brother; 3 sisters; extended family; and a host of friends.
