Bridgeport: Peggy Marie Tutt, 80, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, August 4, 2011 in Plano, Texas.
Funeral service is 9 a.m. Monday, August 8th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Bosley officiating. Interment will be at 1p.m. at Bosley Cemetery, Santo, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8:30 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Blake Connell, Allen Connell, Taylor McHargue, Sean McHargue, Cory Bosley, and Matthew Bosley.
Peggy was born February 20, 1931 in Gilmer, Texas to Sidney and Blanche Ilene (Hardaway)Wharton. She worked for Warner Insurance in Alvord and was a member of the Sunset Baptist Church. Peggy married Arthur Tutt in 1962 and was married 28 years at his death in December, 1990. She is also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Short and Marianne Connell; sister, Yvonne "Bonnie" Pond; and brother, Tommy Wharton.
Left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters, Barbara Lockhart of Denton, Sheila McHargue and husband, Mark of Austin; two sons, Johnny Bosley and wife Martha of Oak Point, Texas and, Robert Bosley and wife, Laura of Sunset; brother, Ted Cook; sister, Carolyn Thompson; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
