Peter John Davis

Decatur--Peter John Davis, 43, retired Navy Jet mechanic, passed away, Tuesday September 4, 2007 in Decatur. FUNERAL: 10:00 AM Friday, September 7, 2007, with graveside burial in DFW Nationaly Cemetery. Family to recieve friends 6-8 Thursday at Coker-Hawkins. Peter was born June 8, 1964 to Glenn Davis and Elnora Mae Fugate in Pomeroy, Washington. Peter married Bertha Santos on June 15, 1985 in Guam. He retired from the Navy in October 1996 as an Aviation Machinist's Mate Second Class and is a active member of the Local Veterans Association. SURVIVORS: Include his loving wife of 22 years, Bertha Davis of Decatur, Texas, son, Peter John Davis, Jr. of Decatur, Texas, Father, Glenn Davis of Arizona, Mother Elnora Mae Davis of Oklahoma, one brother William Davis; one sister Mary Tennant; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
