Denton: Phyllis May Riddle, 77, went to be with our Lord on Monday, February 16, 2009 in Denton, Texas.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, February 21st at the Aurora Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Withers and Worship Leader, John Stewart officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Aurora Cemetery, Aurora, Texas.
Phyllis was born July 17, 1931 in Candor, New York to Harold Nathan and Golda May (Cunningham) Hull. She was widowed twice by Roy Goff and Ernest Riddle of Tallmadge, Ohio.
Her ministry as church organist, choir director, piano instructor, Sunday School teacher and Prayer Warrior will be lovingly remembered by many family members and special friends.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rosemary Riddle-Stewart; grandsons, Tim Stewart and wife Tammy, Scottlan Stewart and wife, Ronette; three great granddaughters, Mackenzie, Maloney, and Skyler Renee Stewart with her marriage to Roy Goff;
Daughters and sons from her marriage with Ernest Riddle; Marcene Scyoc, Wanda Riddle, Gene Riddle and wife, Mary, Carolyn Wallace and husband, Bob, Glenn and Judy Riddle; 50+ grandchildren; and sister, Kathryn and husband, Rex Robey of Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains.
