Sweetwater ~ Polly Ezell Bergstrom, 93, went to be with our Lord Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Sweetwater.
Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate.
Polly was born on May 22, 1923 to Jess and Annabelle (Rutherford) Ezell in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was united in marriage to Wilbert J. Bergstrom on June 28, 1941 in Denton. Polly retired after 50 years from General Motors. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Wilbert Bergstrom.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Jon E. Bergstrom and wife Karan of sweetwater; her grandson, John Derrick Bergstrom and wife Carrie; her great grandson, Evan Bergstrom and great granddaughter, Emme Bergstrom; her granddaughter, Denise R. Blake and husband Jason Blake; her great grandsons, Jaden Blake and Ryan Blake; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
