Decatur ~ Primo Sierra, 65, a restaurant owner, went to be with our Lord Monday, February 4, 2019, in Denton.
M ass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary Church with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. F ather Prakash Dias and Deacon Lauro Huerta will officiate. Pallbearers include Primitivo Sierra Jr., Jorge Aguilar, Travis Still, Benjamin Quasebarth, Jorge Aguilar Jr., Juan Carlos Garcia, Damian Contreras, Carlos Sierra, and Carlos Sandoval.
Primo was born on November 10, 1953, to Primitivo and Maria (Zambrano) Sierra in Michoacan, Mexico. He was united in marriage to Margarita Carrillo on December 16, 1978, in Chicago, Illinois. Primo was owner of Primo’s Taqueria.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his 3 brothers.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Margarita Sierra of Decatur; his daughters, Erica Aguilar and husband Jorge of Decatur, Sonia Still and husband Travis of North Richland Hills, Evette Quasebarth and husband Benjamin of Irving; his son, Primitivo Sierra Jr. and wife Sarah of White Settlement; his grandchildren, Jorge Jr., Devanhi, Joseph, Julian, Dahlia, Damian, Gavin, and Landree; his sisters, Esperanza Garcia, and Maria Sierra; his brothers, Ramiro Sierra, Carlos Sierra, and Guillermo Sierra; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
